Kompete invites students to participate in Fresent- The Food presentation challenge and showcase their craft and creativity

  • Participation from Home
  • Participation will be considered in 3 age groups – 6-9 years, 10-13 years, 14-17 years. Completed age as on 31st Dec 2020 will be considered
  • Registrations shall be open for a limited time
  • Kompete reserves the right to verify authenticity of participant and submissions and expect complete co-operation from the participants and their coordinating guardians
  • Kompete reserves the right to publish the submissions on social media/print or any other medium for marketing and result announcements
  • Any inappropriate content demeaning caste, creed, sex, race etc or any other received in any form shall be disqualified without assigning any reason whatsoever
  • Note: You can participate in multiple competitions of Kompete at the same time

Submission & Evaluation

  • Participants can choose to present any actual food dish in the most innovative way
  • Participant needs to click a photo of the food presentation and make submission   
  • Benefits of combining could be from aesthetic, agricultural, landscape, medicinal, consumption etc or any other points of view
  • Submission Email should bear the subject ‘Kompete – Fresent – Full Name of Participant’
  • Regular camera or Mobile phone camera can be used for this competition. There is no extra weightage in evaluation for using high configuration device
  • Photo size should not exceed 8 mb. Participants not allowed to enhance the photographs using any computer/mobile application
  • Photos to be submitted via email using google drive or wetransfer to the below email id
  • Any other means of submission shall not be accepted and entry will be disqualified
  • Professional Jury shall be appointed in December 2020 and the Jury list shall be shared with all participants
  • All submissions will be evaluated as per age category by Professional Jury
  • All submissions will be evaluated based on innovative presentation, innovative use of food items, neat work etc
  • Submissions are to be original thought and work of the participant and any undue help or plagiarism will result into disqualification. Due diligence of shortlisted entries will be done by the Jury and participants and their guardians are expected to cooperate fully.
  • All submissions to be received before the submission deadline
  • The decision of the judges and organizers will be final and binding on all participants
  • Result announcement dates will be communicated to all participants at an appropriate time
